Let's be honest: when you travel by airplane, you can not brag about thinking about the planet. But even as deeply flawed human beings, we can choose to live conscious in some parts of our lives. When starting this business, we decided we want to contribute to the awareness of having a choice, when you buy something. That you can choose to purchase something without child labour being involved - which naturally is something very close to our hearts, and we reckon anyone's heart, when you really think about it. Also, like our supplier puts it:
'Ethical living and sustainable development seemed to us normal rather than insurmountable. By respecting your skin with soft and durable fabrics, as well as respecting the men and women who produce your clothing in dignified working conditions. Not to mention respecting the world we are living in by limiting our environmental impact. All our partner factories are audited by the Fair Wear Foundation and our GOTS-certified organic fabrics.'
My love mixes the original and funky colors of the prints himself, with vegan, waterbased, non-toxic ink (Oekotex 100 certification).
It's a small stone to throw in the pond, but you never know where and how far the ripples will travel.
It's the least we can do, passing on our amazing experiences in a responsible way, so everyone and all benefit and enjoy.
